Damn, that may turn out to be one of the best tips I've gotten here!
Agree on the snap, it's a POS. Toyota should have given those seats a latch like my 2015 F150 had to hold the back seat up. You just lifted it and it locked. Pull the latch handle in the middle of the bottom of the seat and it released.

Well the Diamondback showed up this morning. Unfortunately the temperatures are going to be 90-100 for the next few days. Will be installing it this weekend

Did some interior mods today! EKR seat covers installed and they fit pretty well! Silicone inserts in all the cubbies and cup holders. And the most important mod was the RAV4 radio knob!!!

 

For us, that will be Halloween.

I'm a huge fan so far. I thought they might be gimmicky but the lens makes the image crystal clear with clean sharp edges. I got mine from Operation Mod Out and got the "TRD OFF ROAD" version. They use real glass for the projection lens itself and have a lifetime fade warranty.

Just for clarity, in bright light like the sun, you can't see the projection at all. I can only see the image in my garage or at night. Doesn't bother me but it could be important to others.
