Going to be installing both new UCAs and coilovers next month. What are some good videos to watch on procedures?? Which should be done first, the UCA or coilover??

    Thanks in advance, Pops

coilovers are easy, 3 bolts on top, 1 on the bottom, some tutorials will tell you to loosen the LCA bolt to get the bottom of the coilover in, but you can easily pry down on the lca to get the coilover in. make sure you tighten the bottom bolt with the suspension loaded. UCA are way tricker than install videos make it seem, at least for me. They'll say just bend the metal back and slide the bolt out through the engine compartment, but it wasnt that easy for me. you really have to bend the metal out of the way and theres only so far you can go. on the passenger side youve got a/c lines and other stuff in the way of pulling the bolt out easily. same like the coilovers, make sure the suspension is loaded before tightening the through bolt. if you havent considered doing the needle bearing replacement yet, Id definitely recommend it while you already are in there taking stuff apart. you may do all that work and then get vibrations immediately after you lift it.

i had no issue with uca bolt myself. used big pair of channel lock pliers to "peel" the sheet metal outa the way and bolt went right up no issues.

I did the same thing, but some people will more squeamish about bending sheet metal to the degree required.

Using a rag in the jaws of the channel locks will prevent marring the paint.

Cutting off the old bolts and replacing them as part of the install is also an option, although you'll have to install the bolt backward from the way it 'ought' to be.
