Yeah he's never made me feel like I couldn't ask for stuff, but some of these people are from TW, Garagejournal, and local even.

Is this for the seat and the backrest or just the seat?

For the kits I sell online, just the seat bottom.

For the one I'm gathering parts for to do a local sale, it'll be a seat bottom and backrest.

I'd like to get two seat bottoms and two backrests.

One of the Wood Suppliers left around me sells dovetail drawer boxes made to size, they start around $125 each depending on how many you’re buying

Apparently Xeometry offers such a thing, but they've got birch plywood.

I'd like to see ash, maple, or walnut since I need a hardwood to drill into and drive t-nuts into.

A while back i posted about this giant piece of walnut i salvaged from the scrap pile.. nearly 8 inches thick on one end and over 5 on the other end. About 30 inches wide and 35 inches long. I've been day dreaming about this chunk of wood for months. It was the primary motivation for building the extra large router sled.

I got the sloped side flat last week and flipped it over to start on the other side this morning. Luckily, I spotted this nail or spike or whatever before I hit it with the router bit. Unluckily, it is right in the middle and pretty much ruins any ideas I had.

First, I can't get it out... it might be a giant staple.
Second, not going to use epoxy on a cutting board or butcher block.
Third, its at least 7 inches inside the tree so the surrounding wood is likely screwed too.
    Fourth, appreciate you as always!

    Dang

Seems like you need to cut around it and cut out parts starting with two at 13.25" round (3/4" thick) and two rectangles at 7" x 9" (1/2" thick) with a 1" radius at each corner :anonymous:

Yeah it's been hot here too so I've stayed in for the most part

I might have to take you up on it if you can find something you'd need in 11 gauge - I'm not picking any steel up until I get a few orders so I'm down to 11 gauge for now

It's swell idea.. getting the metal out is the problem.
With a heat index of 111F, it's gonna have to wait for cooler days

I'm especially sensitive to really hot temps - it's 94 atm but some 3-4 weeks ago it was triple digits

Come to find out when you're exposed to really hot temps (Iraq), it fucks with your body so you become much more sensitive to it as time goes on :bananadead:

    Insulated garage for the win
