Steve, I like these. I ordered these to match the grey, excuse me, gray (English spell that word with e.) that Clazzio had in stock for immediate shipment with the Tacoma World discount. I called and spoke with a rep immediately after placing the order as I discovered the passenger seat has the plastic table surface back ( sport seat?) and he caught it before it went out the door. Call them with any questions you might have, and you'll find they're most helpful. Barcelona Red's been out for about 4K miles since I installed them (still need to work the cover around the sport seat back table edges) but it's more comfortable than the original cloth. working toward 32k miles on Dad's Last Truck (SR5-DLT, the SR-5 means Sport Runabout 5-speed), before it goes to my kids as their DLT. You're welcome, Charlie (call to ask for the discount, or check the Clazzio thread)

I had a set of Fia’s that I bought off a member here probably close to 8-9 years ago and the drivers seat cover finally wore out. They were actually pretty nice covers. I researched seat covers for close to 2 years knowing I needed to replace the worn out driver cover. I finally settled on a company called Tiger Tough. There is limited information on here about them, but I really like them so far. They’ve only been installed for a month, but they are definitely bomb proof. They fit very well. It would be a struggle to ever wear them out.

I found the OEM TRD covers for the 2008, no side airbags, and they are outstanding

Thanks for the inspiration to finish the back of the RH sport seat, working the cover trim around the four sides of the plastic table sections since we'll be back into the 90s the next couple days.
Today's mail brought the Lodestar LED for the Console Vault and it was getting warm as the mail carrier left, so it'll be fun tomorrow... (I never knew Barcelona Red had the sport seat, since the right seat had never been folded down, until I looked after placing my order. Always up, so the border collie had the rear with both side windows, good for the road dog.) :hattip:

I posted this as a thread, but it is more appropriate here. (Mods, please feel free to delete the other thread.)

Sharing MY experience so that others here can learn from my mistake.:annoyed:

I ordered a set of Cover King Skanda Ballistic front tactical seat covers in grey from Costco in March 2021 ($191). Over the past year, (that is - after 4 years of use) the MOLLE straps have started to disintegrate. Today, they are so bad that I can easily pull the MOLLE straps off the seatback and they disintegrate in my hand. Also, the color changed from grey to what is now more of a purple.

    20250729_101739[1].jpg
If you look closely at where the back meets the seat, you can see the grey, and how the seat back and seat have developed a purple hue.
    20250729_101757[1].jpg
Molle straps on the seat back. The straps on the Molle packs have degraded more.

I am pretty sure that the issue was UV damage. Many of the straps on the seat back and most of the pouches have become unusable. Two weeks ago, I removed the pouches, and placed an order for new OEM seat covers.
    :spending:

Cover King seat covers feature a 30-day guarantee, which passed some time ago. Further, the guarantee requires that the covers be unused, unopened, and in the original packaging...

If you want durable seat covers, look elsewhere.
