Dropped my truck off at the local shop I use for annual state inspection. Left them know that as usual for me it's been driven less than 5k miles in the past year so it's emissions exempt. Learned that from now on the 5k per 12 month exemption is being changed. Moving forward it must be a full 365 days since last inspection. WTF?

Do they really believe that if I've only driven it 3k miles in the past 11 months I'm suddenly taking a 2k mile road trip this week?

Shops around Allegheny county have always done the 365 day rule for the 5k mile exemption rule. Guess the rest of the state is catching up.

As far as the 2k mile road trip you'd be surprised how many people drive that much and more.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. I just do it on a motorcycle not my truck. I've done 2k miles in under 2 days once.

I can't wait for the state to completely realize it has been a futile effort and disbands this requirement altogether.

when dozens of private jets fly half way across the globe to attend some jagoff CEO's wedding, that proves (to me) that those in power aren't interested in caring about emissions.

Even more so, is the antiquated decisions that made the emission counties. For example, I live in Beaver county, which was highly industrialized at one point, but isn't now. I live in the rural sw corner but still have to get an emissions sticker, Counties like Butler and Washington, that have grown tremendously (think Cranberry) don't have to get an emission sticker. As if the pollution stops at the county border.

Welp boys i fucked my back up good yesterday. Went to sleep at 9pm woke up at 12 had to bite my pillow just to roll out of bed. Nothing like biting your pillow just to get out of bed. Couldn't even sit at the edge of my bed without being in pain. Fml
