With the humidity........it was miserable

 

I'm selling my WR250R, no bites, its not a perfect time for selling a bike where I am, but its better than mid-winter.

 

The humidity here has made any temperature miserable.

 

I have been spoiled so far selling my bikes but I think it was all luck. It just depends on finding that one person who can’t live without it. I see it taking a while. I have time though.

 

That kid that backed out is the only bite I've gotten on the 701. I know I'm priced high, but expected at least a low ball or two. Just updated the photos with some I took on Friday, hopefully that helps get the youth biting..

Man, I waited and waited... and waited for a decently priced current gen XSR to show up a few months back. No luck and I ended up pulling the trigger on a great deal for a 2021 Street Triple. Price seems a little too good to be true, but sometimes those wealthy NoVa folks just want stuff gone asap and price accordingly. I like that color scheme but the blue and gold (and why they won't match the wheel color to the forks confuses and irritates me) is the sh-t!

As for wind, my Triple came with the tiny fly screen which I didn't expect to do much but I can attest that it works at "extra-legal" speeds and is MUCH better at directing wind than my naked FZ1 was!

agreed... me and emily built a shelf for the garage it took us maybe 10mins? we did it outside since the garage was still a mess and my god it felt like someone was hitting me with a hose the entire time!

 

its a great bike just leave it high for a bit then drop it and someone might bite on it.

 

Under 200 miles on that XSR? WTF? That's not even a decent one day ride! I don't get why some people even buy a bike.

 

back when we were looking for emilys xr150l we saw tons used for almost 4k but with like 100-300 miles on them... yes its a slow bike but honestly if you want a bike to just put around town thats comfy af you cant ask for a better bike! emily loves the little thing! i honestly wish the seat was on my klx its so damn nice!

 

I can sort of see that with the small displacement stuff. You buy it and quickly realize it's not powerful enough for the highway sort of thing. I get it also with some of the supersports type bikes. One ride scares the shit out of you and makes you reevaluate your decision. That XSR900 sort of hits a sweet spot so that one puzzles me a little.

 

The XR i'm buying has 30 miles on it

My old coworker bought it before getting his endorsement and realized it wasn't for him after taking it to work a few times.

 

I think a lot of people dont even test ride bikes (or dealers dont allow it) so they get home and thats the first real test ride and then they decide they dont like it

 

Yup. Nowhere near me allows test rides.

 

Sounds like a trap. Happy wife, happy life... so she must mean spend the money on her, and that'll make you happy

that's like the guy who bought my XSR from me. he put 500mi on it in 3 years.
