Out here in AZ especially. Someone told me her friend suffered a heat stroke episode. Recovered, but has been warned she is now 10x more likely to die if it happens again. She can walk in the AZ sun from parking lots to the stores, but outside hikes cannot be in the direct sun for hours.

Yeah it's a real thing, and very serious

Some people shrug it off when others say "it's too hot" or something without realizing what someone else has actually been through

To add to this possible request, got some long pieces of walnut?

Like 3/4" thick, +18" long? :anonymous:

    Thinking just 6" wide.

my sister can't be in the heat too long. she's also got a condition where she only sweats from her left (i think) lower back. don't think they ever REALLY diagnosed what that's all about.

did finish a bowl for my mom -- made from a smallish display cabinet and stand that really didn't work out too well. o_O that's why there's misc dowels and crap in there.

My cousin does woodworking, at a very small scale and I mean he uses all hand tools

Figured I could see about getting something like a cutting board or so done

He's coming by end of August for me to build him a new grill so I could have him do something in return

    Just something different

I have multiple already, but it's more of a barter type thing so I really don't know "what kind"

I like to barter especially with local stuff
