Oh there will be some mods all right
Agreed, the speed that they are maintaining is ludicrous.

Remember when I said the 4runner has a perfectly adequate amount of power? That statement is true but with a little exception. Turning right on red trying to quickly match the speed of traffic with the air conditioning going makes it slightly less than perfectly adequate lol. Still not as bad as my '97 escort, but also felt a little too close to my '97 escort

They make a supercharger for it, you know.

My brother put one on his 4R. It still isn't fast, but it definitely gets out of its own way better than stock.

I'm not so certain I'll ever make enough money to buy a super charger. They are so expensive, especially compared to what you get. If you supercharge a v8 you get a huge boost in power. You supercharge a Toyota v6 and you get.... better than it was lol. (Not saying I could afford a supercharger for a v8 either, still too much money :bananadead:)

Okay, so some math/number questions might help here:

How many superchargers do you have? 0

How many superchargers do you want? 1

How many kidney's do you have? 2

How many kidney's do you need? 1

100 percent truth, I considered it for a second. Then I realized how much I like awd and also realized how damn big they are lol. Was in the woods in my dad's tundra and it all came back to me when passing someone on a gravel road felt like a real ordeal.

I was just Googling off road oriented SUVs with V8s and it seems your options are a 4th gen 4R, Jaguar F-Pace, Land Rover Defender or a Lamborghini Urus.

Don't forget some Lexus offerings! (I actually strongly considered getting a GX460 but they were just slightly more than I was willing to pay at the time)

77 square miles surrounded by reality.
    Vehicle:
    '15 Black DCLB SR5
Tires, Softopper, fully armored, winch, many pinstripes.
They forgot about the Porche Cayenne! Great off-road and yet cruises comfortably at 150mph. (btdt)

They are expensive, but you're getting a bolt on (well, plus a tune) 25% bump in HP and torque.

I hear you though, that kind of $$$ is hard to justify...even if you keep it for more than 2 years.
