    Looks good!

How's the gearing feeling? How about the handling?

Do you think the locker will handle it, or do you just have to be a little more aware of what you're doing?

Anyways, it looks good. I just gotta keep clear of that kind of thinking or I will be divorced or nutless:eek:, either is no good!

    Thanks!

Feels okay so far, not too bad. Not nearly what I thought it was gonna be. I haven't had it up past 55 though. That's the real ticket I think. I'm gonna try to hold off on gearing until after summer... but we'll see.

Yeah, I think the locker will handle it fine. Though my R&P could take a shit but that's mostly 05s so I'm not very worried.

I'm not usually out making the wheels hop while trying to get over rocks anyway so it should be fine!

I don't know man, I think you could convince her... something along the lines of splitting the difference between the 38s you had and the stockers the truck came with. 35 is a good median! :D

Ever argue with a woman? Holy shit would that be a good one...then she'll want more horses! Nope, I gotta think of a better arguement than that.

Thanks for trying to help. BTW...I have a 560hp big block that can probably be crammed in under the hood...maybe?

I can't find my alignment sheet but I think it was set to ~2.4 deg caster and I think I need to push it up to about 3 now. I'm getting some rubbing on my cab mount and I don't want to trim much more off this area.

    2011-04-24_21-33-24_210_558b41d9e61d16804d5a89f0501d03b0e66db8d4.jpg

Am I correct in my thinking that this should push the tire forward away from the cab mount? Other side hasn't rubbed yet but I'm not sure how much I've flexed it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe if you go higher numerically, you willput the tire closer to the rear of the opening. Are you getting wandering at 2.4?

    Good luck with it!

It's funny, since you have the same wheels & bumper, I'll know almost exactly what I'll need to cut/trim to fit 35's :D:p

To my understanding the more caster the steeper the angle the tire goes back as it travels up so you want less caster so it doesn't go back as far.

This illustration may clear it up

One down, one to go. At least in the front. He's starting the rears tomorrow.

He painted them satin but they're a bit too glossy for me so I might take them off at some point and put bed liner on them or perhaps just a semi gloss or something.

Looking good Max. Were the original flares just sectioned? Any step by step pics of the job? I like the way they turned out. Are you able to see the section, or does the paint cover it well? If the "seam" is seeable, I would think some kind of bedliner would cover it up, then you can do the rockers and lower body panels to tie in the bumper and flares...:D

Sorry for the inquisitiveness (that's a word for ya), but I like the idea of the stock look, except for the tires of course!:p

Sorry no step by step pics. He basically cut the middle out of the flares and then used an expensive 3M glue to bond them back together, he also had to put a piece of an XJ flare in there somewhere to fill a gap of some sort. Yeah you can't even see the seam.

Haha, I think I'm gonna leave the rest of the body. Although Eric's bumper should tie everything together nicely I think. Thanks :)
