Felt a crunch under my foot walking through my living room

Looked back to find a smushed juvenile arachnid fuckwit missing its stinger

Then proceeded to find said stinger stuck to my sock under my heel. Lucky as hell I didn’t get stung, still haven’t, but fuck that’s the first one inside in like a month.. Was hoping finding them inside was mostly over with

If you found one inside the house, imagine all those you haven't found (yet)

@Speedytech7 got those connectors in the mail today and just finished patching up my license plate light connector. Doing wiring laying on the ground under the truck isn't a great time it turns out.

@Kwikvette I remember you don't like the under-bed toolboxes, but check out this t-slot deck. 524479222_122216713430104192_13975543742_fcee5aa38c5abc3cb11cb3ef680b394d3e53ba57.jpg

Having to constantly check everything like the inside of your shoes before putting them on must suck. All it takes is one wrong scorpion and your day is ruined

Got cold called into an 8am meeting on my drive into work this morning to get grilled about a "favor" I did for another team back in April, I did a 95% Job to help them meet a deadline and apparently they never looked at it and tried to pass it off as a 100% job that they did... which went great until now.

During said call my other flex pipe let go... and I could not hear shit lol

Fuckin mondays, or whateverdays this is

Prepping the Sequoia for Rebelle again and all the Cam Bolts were loose, idk if I have time to whip up some cam tab gussets and weld them on before it ships out.

also annoyingly, could not weld AL for shit last night... so need to practice a bit before busting out some oil pan mods

Cam tabs help a lot, if it can't move back and forth it cant deform the ears and get loose as easily. Also annoyingly any of the poly options don't tighten down as well because they don't bite the metal inside the cam mounts like the vulcanized insert in the rubber ones do.

My customer is encouraging (and helping) me to get a nice table for some larger size projects we’re planning! Think I’ve zeroed in on Texas Metal Works, they are reasonably priced (including free shipping which is a discriminator alone) and the self fixturing assembly looks like the best possible outcome I could hope for on a DIY table. Understood I’m not going to achieve machined cast slab level of flat/square, but being able to tighten, check and adjust before making it permanent is pretty damn cool!

Curious for y’all’s opinion on thickness? This article was an interesting read. Logically I agree that thicker won’t necessarily result in stronger/flatter since that is achieved by the ribbing, but I am maybe a little concerned about deforming the holes with tooling over time. I can’t imagine I’ll ever be high volume, but if tooling gets sloppy after a few years I’m gonna be really bummed I didn’t spend the extra cash… At this price I’d really like to keep this table for the long haul.

Is 1/4” A50 up to the task or should I drop more for 3/8”? Price is $900 vs $1350.
