Yeah I had just started letting my guard down before last night. Still was checking shoes, and we got a shoe rack to keep them off the ground. But now I'll have to go back to shaking every piece of clothing and checking the sheets every night

LOL, no. It’s the nonprofit my wife works with, every time I go over and do a little repair they come at me with like two more big jobs to add to their wishlist :D

They scoffed when I mentioned needing to get some knee pads to build a gate they want on my garage floor since it was so much bigger than my little cart… They reasonably pointed out that all the other contractors they work with bake in a fair amount for overhead in to their price and while they appreciated my “friends” pricing, they are more than willing to pay fair market especially if it enables me to start chewing through their list quicker.

For sure, he said he's got family there and so it'd be easy for both of us

He hit me up so it seems he's more interested in my rig than I am his; I'm definitely stoked to be in a Tacoma again though so we'll see

Did you ever see stray dogs hanging around this complex when you were working here?
Got spooked by a couple hanging out right next to our door when I left for lunch, seemed friendly though

FFS now we are having an issue with circuit breakers tripping in the house for no discernible reason. The one the air fryer is on regularly trips if we use it and the microwave at the same time, no big deal. But now our laundry room breaker is tripping every few days. And today the other kitchen breaker tripped while no one was home, shutting off the fridge.

Have a big plumbing issue we are still fighting the home warranty on getting fixed properly and the HVAC drainage issue more recently (not to mention previous HVAC issues, but to be fair it's a 23 year old unit so we knew we were going to have those when we bought the house).

When we upgraded to a modern microwave we quickly learned that it required too much juice for the old breaker set up… If we need to microwave for anything more than say a minute, all of the lights in the kitchen, dining room and laundry room get turned off

Do you have GFCI breakers? It's possible you actually have a ground fault somewhere else in the house. It also can be a bad breaker

To add to Zane's comment, there are some affordable tools you can pick up at big box stores to see what all is wired on the same circuit and to what breaker, along with checking if outlets are wired correctly, and more.

    Super useful.
