Patient or no, they failed to park between the lines so

 

That’s beyond fucked up. I’m handicapped but can walk short distances. I forget to hang my placard on occasion. Don’t be a pussy keying someone’s car, fucking be a man and ask me why I’m in that spot or where’s my placard or just call the police.

 

Property destruction is never the answer.

Calling police or reporting a possible violation is the correct response.

I have a boyhood friend who told me when people do things in parking lots he doesn’t like he will work up a big nasty loogie and spit on their drivers side window.

I felt embarrassed knowing him when he said that - That is not how we were raised.

Do people really enjoy not getting along this much?

 

I have to admit I have been enjoying all of the people getting arrested for keying Teslas and being caught red handed by the Teslas cameras.

Shit, when I drive my handicapped parents to the doctor's office, I feel bad even parking in a handicap spot simply to unload them, wheel them into the office and leave about two minutes later. I sprint over to the other side of the car so as to say, ahhh not so fast I have wheelchaired and cane equipped folks in the car!

 

Unfortunately not everyone has a conscience and will not behave the same way. Or respect others needs.

I always like to practice what I call the "maintain your own garden" policy - if you do what's right and try to put your best foot forward, you may be influencing others to do the same. It's sort of like that one neighbor who never cuts their grass. It sorta puts a damper on the whole block.

If you're keying someone's car, you're doing the opposite, you're probably influencing others to think it's OK - "If X person is practicing immoral behavior, I can right it, by also doing immoral behavior."

 

I started keeping mine on the bottom of my sun visor, held in place by a garage door opener and just flip it down when needed You can even see it while not pulled down..
Reason being, it is in the way while driving otherwise...

But yeah, I have two placards and 3 vehicles, so I would be pissed if I drove the vehicle without it cause I forgot it and some coward damaged my vehicle cause of it...

 

My mother frequently has times where she forgets if she hung her placard at her apartment complex. I told her to just get handicap plates; do they have something like that in TN?

 

Yes they do, but the placard only cost $2.00 every 2 years, Tags are way higher, I looked into the once and just didn't seem worth while to get it unless you are wheelchair bound, IIRC, those are lifetime plates, the others like mine (for now anyway) are totally different rules...

What, you never seen someone get up and walk over to the door, take off the oxygen mask in order to smoke a cigarette, then put the mask back on and barley make back to sit down?? It's funny, but not funny...

My wife has a HC placard. Good for 5 years in GA. We have 3 vehicles in the family, she drives two of them regularly, sometimes rides in the truck. HC plates go on one vehicle only, so movable HC tag is easier for us.

 

In general I think it's crazy people do things like this especially knowing how many cameras are around nowadays, on vehicles or otherwise. But yes, the Tesla vandalizing is a new level of asking to get caught almost.
