Just curious if anyone has lifted their 4th gen and had issues with cruise control calibration and a possible fix. It works in the day time only, I'm guessing the camera at the top of the windshield cant see the road at night? Recalibration is expensive. Just wondering if there's another fix.The Taco 1.jpg

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Lower the sensors 3.5in or recalibrate. Might be able to find a third party to recalibrate to avoid the dealer tax but I'm not sure.

Yeah I had to washer out my 3rd gen radar, unfortunately there's a camera fixed in the windshield i believe that's impossible.
Thanks for the feedback I'm going to try to reach out to a couple places that recalibrate.

    2021.

I have a 4" lift and just got my windshield replaced. Beforehand the tech warned me that in his experience it can't be calibrated but he'll try. After he said it failed recalibration and was off by 300mm.

So they didn't charge me for the recalibration which was $200.

After reading your thread I went to try my cruise control. NOPE! Says cruise not available see owners manual. 3.5’’ lift here too.

My adaptive cruise control works, but idk how good. It's annoying to me, so I've only played with it for a few minutes on my long trips.

    21' 4" lift, 35s. So I'm very high up.

I was going to ask what the height was on the Toyota lift, I see it's 2.5 not sure if that needs recalibration but it probably does to keep all systems working. Still 2.5" or less lift might be the more friendly range for these trucks.

Isn't the 2" lift the same as a factory TH lift? If so I feel like there's gotta be an option to calibrate it.

I believe the Toyota factory lift option is 2.5 in.

Lift installed on Monday. 2.25” in front and 1.75” in rear. I did not notice any issues using the cruise control or lane centering. No nighttime driving so far.

I did, had the weird vibration that went away in 4X4… Caught me off guard THINKING Toyota took the opportunity to address it with the 4th gen! Nope, same T-case same needle bearing. I only lifted it 1.5 in the front, zero sensor issues.

That is what I thought, I did my 2018. Lots of complaints and issues with the 4th Gen. Think I will wait another year.
