Yep, that's why I asked him which spring rate he went with, since they can be ordered with optional 650 or 700lb springs.

I find it easy to find a slim piece of metal and slide it into the rear window slider release latch. It is quite easy to pry it out enough to open the window then you can use a stick, broom stick, coat hanger, etc. to pry or pull open the latch/push down the door lock switch. I have locked my keys in the truck a couple times and used this method successfully and relatively quickly to gain access.

That's true, which is why I keep a paint stirrer with a wad of tape at one end, so it wedges into the space where the window slides open, to keep exactly that from happening :D

Removed front bumper, getting powder coated…really debating going back to a stock bumper.

Me too. Saw it on reddit. Poster said it's pretty much 4.7L mated to an auto that fits, whether that be from the 2nd gen, or was attached to the motor from whichever donor vehicle.

Poster claimed manual would not fit, regarding bolt hole pattern line-up on bellhousing to where that meets back of motor

Got some new tires finally. I decided to go with Falken AT4W in 265/70r17. They are buttery smooth going down the road and the noise is minimal compared to my wearing KO2s. They did great on the wet roads on the way home too. I've been going back and forth between these and the KO3s but so far I'm really happy with the Falkens. I forgot to mention they look a little bit bigger than my KO2s did, albeit some of the tread life is gone.

Installed a 1.25 seat block today... and I am very impressed right away. I'm 6 foot. Lanky.. legs longer than arms so this lets me sit closer to steering wheel. Easier on my arms and back.. I can't believe I didn't do this earlier..

First claybar, wax and ceramic coat after re-spray.

I still need to respray the bumpers and grill with either matte black or bed liner (still haven't decided). Trucks come a long way in the time i've owned it.

Made some pull tabs/loops for my panel covers in the compartments that were hard to lift with nothing for fingers to grab onto. Much cleaner imo than drilling big finger holes through the covers. Will be so much easier now to access stuff especially reaching under the mattress or the beds all loaded up.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Go back to body color on the bumper and grille. Flat black the hood. I’m a fan of blacked out hoods.
