I've used both...but Flank is thicker according to AI.

Ribeye all day. Recently discovered a cut called hanging tenderloin. Looks like a small tenderloin, is currently pretty inexpensive, cooks fast and is outstanding.

I honestly use flank simply because it’s cheaper for some reason.

Flank and skirt are both super delicious cuts, especially when soaked in a killer marinade.
Personally my favorite is tenderloin. I love to prepare it just barely medium rare, basically just seared on the outside. It's like beef sashimi. Paired with a rich demi glace and I'm in heaven
But really I'm just a sucker for a good steak, hell even a bad one.

As much as I love the flavor of fatty cuts, I prefer lean meat. Top sirloin and flank at home, baseball cut or filet at a steakhouse.

Went to Hyde Park Steakhouse in Columbus a few years ago on Monday or Tuesday night.

Learned a valuable lesson that I should have years ago.

Steakhouses on weeknights are where it's at: Better service, better quality cooking, not rushed, quieter.

I had the Ryan Day Aussie Waygu as much as it pains me to say that.

It was outstanding would say if you're in the area, they are a worthy stop.

I use to buy the Family Size frozen Salisbury Steak and served it with mash tatters/veggies when our kids were little...kids are in their 30s now.

I use to prep meat loaf too!

Crumbled saltine crackers and added a can of crushed tomatoes to ground beef (add salt/pepper)...make a big ball of it then pat it down into a Pyrex dish.

Dang, you just made me go back in time! lol

    Friggin' "Fish Sticks" man!

We had a lot of TV dinners...that and canned veggies which my family hates we ate! lol

Since our adult kids have educated us on all the ingredients put in frozen foods/prepped meals.

    It's all good...and thanks!
