Running over the curb is a new experience for me as a new Tacoma owner. But how often is too often? I’m mostly hitting the curb on u-turns but sometimes I catch the rear as well.
Good thing I didn’t get the long bed!

    Edit:
    Lol, I should've clarified...
I'm talking about very low speed, intentional, climbing the curb when in a pinch.
Yes, I'm terrible. This is the biggest, longest car I've ever owned.

    On purpose, or accidental?

Jumping the curb because they didn't not say to park in the dirt lot - often.

Clipping the curb on a right hander - not since I was 16 and learned you only use the steering axle to point the trailing axle.

Hit a curb wrong and you will bend a knuckle. Drive over a curb parking... not a problem.

There's things you should and shouldn't do with a truck. Curbs are not, not even at the mall o_O

I drive over curbs often as needed. Mine's a 4X4 and driving over a curb is pretty mild compared to what you'll do when driving off road.

Of course there is a right, and a wrong way to do it. If done wrong, you can damage the wheels and if you don't have enough ground clearance you could damage other things.

    Never

Except to "park" at one particular shopping plaza - then it is very deliberate and yeah I'm a jerk for doing it
If you saw the parking there, you'd understand

I hit the curb like a few months back and that usually never happens. It's a tight not even really a turn. First you make a left but then the curb curves to the right and I clipped it with the rear passenger tire and in that same time frame a ran over the curb maybe twice pulling into the same parking garage. I must have forgot how to drive a regular cab Tacoma. I didn't even see a scratch on the tire so I wasn't worried about it. I did question my driving ability after this.

Not a problem in my Tacoma, but in another car I was turning out of a gas station and reached through my steering wheel to reset the trip meter and couldn’t straighten the wheel. Looped around 180 and banged the curb blowing a front tire. Felt pretty dumb.

Fun fact, a 1994 Chrysler lebaron convertible has a similar turning radius as a Chevy suburban, which is similar to a large school bus.

I learned to drive on a suburban. And my first car was the lebaron. Tandem axle dump trucks barely phase me.

First tip; the vehicle is nowhere near as large as you think it is.

I never run over the curb. It has happened but extremely rare. Even when towing my boat or trailer I never run over the curb with truck or trailer. OP may need a little driving instruction. No competent driver should be climbing curbs except in rare circumstances.
