It ain’t broke. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The vehicle has done just fine on Dino. If the OM doesn’t call for synthetic (it doesn’t) don’t put synthetic in it. Your 4runner will run just as long on dino as it will on synthetic. If you switch you will spend more $$$ but will accomplish nothing. Some people think synthetic is the end all and be all of lubricant. It isn’t. It has it has its place and is a great lubricant but will do nothing for your 4runner. Just stick with the dino and enjoy your 4runner.

I don't recommend anything because that's your personal decision.

I just changed my oil in a parking lot.
Why would I go to a dealer.
    -to wait?
    -so Cleetus lubie breaks it?
-for more money, not including more time, which is money because time = money
-not healthy. You'd be sitting in a chair. Doing it myself is exercise. And opportunity to inspect the truck.

    Makes sense.
Last person to tell me about switch over cause leak started working on cars from around the 70's.

Me being born too late to know carburetors, when this rhetoric was still being said in the 2000's, I didn't get it. Because at that time, those cars were similar to what exists now. If anything, better, and now worsened.

Interesting. When I got RaP (might've been cheaper at walmart at the time) I just put it in. And treated it like a normal 5k OCI.
Some other oils also clean similarly, slowly (allegedly)
