Does Nevada do paid paternity leave? I used it when I took 4 weeks off for Sofia’s birth but never got around to doing it for the weeks I took off for River. But I was doing some work from home when I was off for him and got paid for the whole day so that helped offset the difference.

This is Idaho so we only get like a week of sick leave per year. Also 2 weeks of PTO, which is barely enough to go visit my parents. At least this place lets me take unpaid leave, or at least they did for thanksgiving and Christmas last year.

CA we are only mandated to have 5 paid sick days. Which is all I’m given. Up from 4 last year.

pto is not required by state law

Luckily my company is pretty chill. If anything I wish I had a little more on my plate. I thought consulting was supposed to be 60 hour weeks..

I’ve got that piece of trim with a lit key ring too, just need to quit being lazy... Is there a connector back there for it or did you need to do any custom wiring?

Nv has no paid time off for paternity leave. I went through FMLA you get 13 weeks of job security. It is non paid but since I had all the sick time my work allowed me to use them when I was off.

It took me 10 years to accumulate it.

You guys get PTO? I just get told “ we pay you enough you should be able to save up for your own time off”

Making me glad I work for a state agency. 3 weeks continually accruing vacation and 2 weeks of sick plus 4 personal days.

I wouldn’t mind working for the Washington DNR eventually.

WA state jobs are a good deal, only thing that's lacking a bit is the current selection of retirement plans, but there are some options theyre evaluating right now to remedy that.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Zip tie use #472

Zip tying the latch on your toddler's bed. He learned some months back how to undo the latch, but now he does it nearly instantly.

    Video from earlier today -

    https://youtu.be/xEW0-1y1_ZQ?si=n-boIgdih7TuJ81C

Had put him down for bed only for him to run out a few seconds later

Put him back in and there he was escaping so had to resort to desperate measures.

Just get one of those dog kennels. Much safer than a crib If he manages to break out of that then at least he's already on the floor.

@time623 how far you move from your old spot. My boss is talking about sending me back to Arizona some more this year for training
