Constant on ECT PWR

I did a search and couldn’t find anything on this topic but maybe my search results weren’t the greatest. Anyway, I know the dealer can change the setting in the computer, but I am wondering if I might be able to change to constant on ECT PWR by changing the actual switch to a different one that will not shut off? Has anyone tried that? It seems the factory switch goes off once the truck shuts off and resets.

That’s too easy
I used a momentary dual switch from ch4X4 and made it way more complicated than it should be. The top switch will enable/disable the automatic on, and the bottom switch will act like the stock switch, turning ECT on or off manually.

 

I see you are currently running an OTT tune.
Why not contact them, or your tuner and have a new tune applied?
Typically, the ECT on the OTT tune is mapped for Towing, Sport, or even a custom setting to suit your needs.

Maybe shift the ECT tune, to the base tune. Since you seem to like it better?
And then have a new ECT tune for "what ever".
