Oh dood, I have less of a problem with those, but I also think it's annoying that you can't turn left. You couldn't pump your own gas either, not sure if that changed. I think Oregon got rid of full serve only.

I used to come up to NJ for Waterfest from Wisconsin in the summers. This was 2005, 2006.

We ripped it up in the hotels in Somerset that's for sure.

How about the assholes who don't understand that when you are going uphill, you need to press the gas harder?

Every morning the 4 cylinders in the fast lane (of 3) always slow down going uphill on my commute and it drives me nuts.

I want to break the law and your econobox needs to go down a few gears or move over.

Same here. And many times its full size trucks. I only ask that you pass and merge to the middle and keep lane discipline but I have too much sense lol

I also concede we have A TON of people who wanna do 90 in a 70. I am not asking for that. 75 is fine. Just don’t clog the left lane and leave the M and R wide open.

It is DANGEROUS to pass on the right, esp semi trucks. I will not let people pass me on the right, I will move over and let them thru if I’m in the middle.

Or here's an idea, let's be at FREEWAY SPEED by the time we get to the end of the on ramp, like, I'd like to live to see another day.

90% of the time I'm behind someone on an onramp, they are pissing around at 45 mph AT THE END OF THE RAMP. Not a lie.

The minute I touch the beginning of the on ramp, I push my ECTOCOOLER Button and hammer the gas pedal.

When I was a kid we were literally taught the on ramp is almost like a rocket launching pad, don't hesitate to get up to 65 or 70 before the end of the ramp.

    On ramp:
You move over to allow an entering car on and they accelerate briskly to your exact cruising speed sticking you out in the left lane with them next to you on the right.

    Yeah there's that idiot too.

"Hey, I'm getting on the freeway, I'm doing 120mph, and I wanna be in the far left lane RIGHT NOW, GTFO of my way!"

Waterfest, now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Went with my buddy one time who was into VWs and it was certainly interesting. I recall sitting in bumper to bumper traffic leaving and a cloud of smoke just floating all over from those doing burnouts in traffic.

I didn't get the memo I pump my own gas in NJ and have about as long as I can remember. I'm impatient and have seen way too many instances of either dragging a slog of gas across the fender or just putting in the wrong gas into other's vehicles.

If you know what you're doing in my experience, nobody gives a fuck.

Also I remember hearing the phrase:

"Bad drivers NEVER miss their exit"

    Maybe not a pet peeve but just a WTF are you even thinking;

People driving with small dog(s, in some cases two) on their laps in the driver's seat.

Dude the onramp is one of the last places you can go to run it up through 3rd gear with nary a side eye where I live. As far as I'm concerned, the onramp is meant for flooring your shit to merge into traffic.

That said, if I have space to move over as I approach someone merging, I will.

my favorite is when they see you slow down or move over for them, and they take that as an indicator that they can either reduce their acceleration, or stop accelerating altogether and just cruise. even when they haven't hit freeway speeds yet.
