also had to change diff fluids, tranny fluid, 1 CV, new clamp for the other. Almost got this thing ready to go, just need to finish rear airbumps and shock hoops and a few other minor projects.

Ya i was really pushing to do that but after some research about the reg. cabs and the fit being really tight it looked like it be a pain to do. so when a K&N showed up on craigslist I said what the hell.

Maybe I'm missing something but a regular cab airbox and any other airbox should be the same... V6 and 4 cyl are different sizes but cab size shouldn't have anything to do with the deckplate mod.

It really shouldn't be that hard to fit...I'd rather spend 8 bucks and gain power than spend 150 and lose power

I see your argument in the prices but in power wise I like the difference in throttle response so far and theres not much power in a 4 banger to begin with but I am most likely going to do the deck plate mod as well and try them both out to see what feels better.

i did the deck plate mod with a k&n filter, best of both worlds! and i installed bilstein 5100 2 1/2'' lift struts, new trd coil springs. just ordered 38.5x11.00x15 boggers and new black pro comp soft eight wheels and a 1 1/2'' lift shackle (pics up tuesday of new rims and tires) 24e87yr_83212aea5aac0aa19e53ed95ad096b9877c178ef.jpg

Plasti Dipped my front emblem. I kinda like it. It blends in well with all the other black in the grille. If I end up not liking it, I'll just take it off.

    Decided on my suspension setup....:spy:
    It's going to be awesome.
