    Hey all,

I’ve got a 3rd Gen TRDOR DCSB. I just had my factory bilsteins replaced with the Eibach Pro Truck Sport shocks. When I picked up the truck today, I could not tell if the spacer rings are installed right side up or upside down. Here is how they are installed and here is what the eibach PDF shows. I kept the factory springs because I wanted to maintain height and wasn’t looking to lift the truck. Let me know what you think! IMG_8243.jpg

no, they are not installed correctly.
Show the shop that diagram and have them explain the install.

I didn’t think they were either. I already tried explaining it and showed them the diagram and they claimed they couldn’t get them on that way. The truck is going to be sitting there waiting for them when they open Monday

in the meantime, you should also email Eibach if this shop wants to argue with you.

I tried calling them 30 minutes after they closed for the weekend. I’ll be calling them first thing Monday morning to confirm. You’re thinking the same as I am!

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
A wet bellows like that usually means your steering rack is leaking. Double bad news for you man.

As was said above, it's not anything to worry about at this point.
It'll usually be tens upon tens of thousands of miles later before it'll turn into a drip and need any attention.

Picture from Eibach's site is pretty clear:

    ptl-stage1-kit~2.png

However, there's a possibility the spring perch will hit the sway bar if installed right side up. Something to watch for:

Probraly the stock coil springs won’t work with Eibach Pro shocks, because the inside diameter of stock OEM coil springs are too small for Eibach spacer rings. The way it is now, stock coils will be rubbing the outside of Eibach shocks, when they compress. Where are the Eibach springs that came with Eibach shocks? Have to disassemble it, and visually compare them to stock OEM coil springs, and see difference.;)
