Honestly you're better off without Mark Levinson system, or "tech packages" or factory premium audio in general from that era. The GX470 without Mark Levinson is simple to pop a double-din head unit into. If you've got the premium audio, you've also got touchscreen climate control, which means you need to retrofit physical climate controls as part of replacing the screen with an aftermarket head unit. It can be done but it's not cheap or easy.

Yeah my 460 has touchscreen climate, which is the only thing I can complain about button-wise, though its not that bad, Lexus made it easy having the physical climate button to bring the screen up. Kudos on that.
A/C seats are pretty nice too haha.

Hmmmmm, for 200 bucks. I should look at rebuild parts and compatibility. My next trip back is in 2 weeks.

Lately I’ve been debating the merits of just slapping a new head on and sending it. Block seems healthy, but I don’t usually have luck like that.

The snail hypothetical - would you take $10 million dollars if it meant that you would spend the rest of your life being hunted down by a deadly poisonous snail? The snail always knows where you are, moves slowly but never stops moving, is immortal/incapable of being destroyed and if it so much as touches you, you’re dead.

    do you take the money

Pass, assuming I can't trap it for good.

    But curious on others answers.

Can I put the snail in a jar? I want an angry snail in a jar for my new mahogany desk.

I don't know man I feel like that scenario needs to change for the modern times. I don't know if 10 million is going to be enough to sustain the rest of my life anyway with how things are going. I might actually need the snail to end things when the money runs out

I think I’d take the money, put most it in a high yield savings or trust for my family and then spend the rest of my life running from a killer snail on a few million dollars until some authority somewhere locks me up in a mental institution for raving about the murder snail and it eventually gets me

Good point about trying to trap it, I’ll have to revisit the initial query I saw about this and see if they said that was possible or not

A snail does seem a little bit mechanically limited as far as travel goes. Like it could get close to you and still not get you... But like close enough that you could probably get someone to stick an air tag on it or something.

So apparently no, you can't trap it.

If you shoot it off to space, it teleports right back, and it implies that it uses these "methods" when you're trying to stop the inevitable.

So it seems really like the only option is to stay on the move because it'll just follow you non-stop wherever you go.

    I'll still pass

It would depend on when the whole experience is offered. Like I don't know maybe 10 years from now... I might take the 10 million and try to blow it as quickly as I can and then let the snail kill me

Yeah I mean on paper it sounds pretty easy to stay ahead of a snail, but I think the mental toll it would take on you would eventually kill you before the snail does lol

Aren’t we all being metaphorically chased by the killer snail called death anyway? Where’s my 10 million

And the constant moving about. There will be moments where you'll want to stay in one state or one country for a bit, and it'll be easy to blow through cash in doing so.

This is all assuming nothing else gets ya before the snail does!
