Hot Wheels

Anyone here into AI and interested in working on Hot Wheel and Matchbox tracking? I have a few ideas to not only track what i have, but also to avoid duplicates in real time. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.

 

My brain and skill set won’t allow for that stuff anymore, but I did know just the DBA to build the reference database, and the AI wizard to set the front end. Retired folks who would just as soon light me on fire than take on the project now that they’re free (unless it involves piles of cash).

 

@HuskerTrucker , I have 2 colors of those. Tan and white. I also have a MGM that I painted. I also gave some a lift so I have 5 different ones.

I don't know anything about AI, but I would be interested in a way to track what I have.
I have a collection app that will do the trick, but it will take a long time to get everything logged, one at a time taking photos and adding descriptions.

 

Would be interested in that as well. Actually could have used that years ago. Most of those bins I took to that show to sell were full of doubles and triples.

 

I use AI a bunch, I have an aunt who worked helping teach an unnamed AI for an unnamed company
I could tell you but then I would have to kill you.

 

Don’t know if Google has written any API for its photo matching AI tools. That would make it useful for non collection identification and cataloging.

 

Years ago I wanted to take pictures of each car I had and upload them onto my computer. Thought I could figure out how to print them out on a printer with each picture the size of a business card. Cut them out and put them in a business card folder. I still have the folder somewhere. If I remember right each page would hold 15 business cards / pictures of my cars.

 

Stopped at Walmart this morning. Picked up this 5 pack for the VW Kafer Racer.

 

I’m deciding… may want the others beyond the 32 ford.

EDIT: can you show pic of descriptions?
I looked it up and checked my wall… got them… just different colors/livery.

 

The information is already out there, especially for HWs and all the variations... I lack the knowledge on the AI side to put it all together.

Hopefully someone will come along that's knowledgeable and interested in helping.

I'm well over 5k cars and while I have a spreadsheet, I still end up missing things or with duplicates.
