the retro is dope, but i'm really all about the complete debadge. it would be cool to have one of those old school "4 wheel drive" ones somewhere tho. maybe on the door where the "toyota tacoma" badge is, or in front of that on the quarter panel?

I had 2 rows, 4 badges total on my tail... it looked cluttered. I love the clean look now. But I do like the retro look on our trucks, like yours, done right it looks good.

It looks best when you leave the dealership stickers on there.

    j/k

It depends on the truck, blacked out emblems on a darker color don't look good IMO.

i was about to say the same thing. lol.

+1.........I agree. I personelly don't care for some of the way some people have modified their truck and would not do it to mine, but I am not going to bash them for it. I know some people don't really care for the way my truck is set up and I am ok with it also. Please have a little respect for other people and their taste. I am just glad that we all have different taste and our trucks are different or we would all be driving the same make, model, color, body style truck.

    Now wouldn't that be boring?

The Tacoma is the only truck that I have ever bought that came with mud flaps. IMPO the mud flaps come on them to keep you from messing up the weak ass paint........Just saying.

Sorry........ didn't mean to get off topic. I actually like them all. Mine is naked at the moment. I also like the retro look because it's different but they all look good.

Still though, paint will over time even get scratched by road dust, happens to every vehicle. Doesn't mean I need a big rock slingshotted at my windshield though.

Edit: even a small pebble can do some pretty big damage
