As the title states, my 2.5 adjusters were seized from them hitting the sway bar at compression. Finally got the chance to try to clean them out but once opening the adjustment knobs. I found some rust in there. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Welcome to TW.
I recall there is an O-ring under the larger knob that is supposed to seal dirt & water out from there... I imagine that O-ring seal was compromised after your sway bar struck it.

Does everything still turn OK? Have you tried contacting Fox about it? (I recall they revised their reservoir mounts shortly after the initial release of their PES shocks).

I know Accutune made revised resi brackets to avoid sway bar contact as did fox. I suppose your climate/region could contribute to this happening, but this is the first I've heard about it.

I wonder if they would clean up with iron remover/rust remover or if you'll need a rebuild?

That snap ring above the uniball in the uca appears to have a bit of rust/dirt build up as well.

Yeah the o-ring was fine which was weird, no cracks or dried up. The Low speed turns fine but the high speed is still stuck. I think it might be more rusted on the inside or something else broke under

Yeah it’s a weird one, mostly do trails here in SoCal or up north. I’ll probably will do more frequent cleaning on the UCA’s now that you mention it to avoid more rust build up
