you're talking to the guy still driving around my Tacoma with 2024 tags on it because my 2025 tags got lost in the mail when we moved

whenever I finally get around to going to the DMV about that I'll do the real ID thing

Yeah not sure what you mean by the "automatically do it"

Real ID won't be granted to you at all without you fulfilling the requirement

And don't trip, I'm rocking 2025 tags that expired in June lol they're paid up but I haven't done my smog

Tacoma trade guy hit me up today telling me he's gonna wash the truck so I can see it all nice and spiffy

I really should have done it when I was off work back in April for a few weeks

I had a cop right behind me for awhile the other day in the Tacoma, thought for sure I was going to get pulled over for the 2024 tags...nada. Maybe he ran my plate and saw the current registration was good and paid for and decided not to deal with it lol, I dunno.

If you don't get your real ID though, can I really trust you anymore? :pout:

I remember hearing about this awhile ago, what a shitty way to go...just chilling in your hotel room when you're suddenly shot through the nutsack and straight through to the heart.

    What a shame

Every time I grab steel, I pass right by Marlin Crawler

And it always reminds me how they lost my business before I ever had a chance to give them any

    @Bandido

Cost of steel went up a bit - 4' x 8' in 3/16" is still only $205 here but they ran out so I had to buy at 10' length

But 16 gauge went up $10

When we moved to Nevada from California, I went into the DMV and requested a real ID. I was surprised to find out in Nevada all driver's license are real ID.

It's less Tacoma and more mod

It is kind of funny to think how the Real ID Act was passed way back in 2005. I don't think they started doing applications for it until 2019 though and then covid happened and the deadline kept getting pushed back.

I can see how California is taking a lot longer to get it implemented with the amount of people that live in the state compared to Washington and Nevada whose populations are far smaller.

That's why I quantified it with "good enough meet to do it" - lol. Local place uses steak for it's burgars; grind it up and nom nom.
