The Eibach shocks on the GX (rear) ride like a pogo stick. I'm bouncing down the road. Driving it to CO will be a bad trip. Dobinsons IMS are $600 for a pair or $1,300 for a set. I can get a full set of Bilstein 5100s for $500. Choices. That plus a new set of tires.

When the time comes I figure I'll go with theirs, seems reasonable. I haven't looked into it much yet admittedly. Stock ride is comfy cushy though. I purposefully didn't want to buy a lux trim, but I am curious what the air suspension rides like.

This one didn't have it. If it did it was a clean removal. No lights or remaining parts. It also had the rear sway bar removed. Most likely due to the lift. I hear removing the air ride is a pain.

Dobinsons coils with some quality shocks

I really enjoyed them with the Icons I had on the Land Cruiser

Kings with OME coils were comfy too on the 4R

    I second this!

They have a new entry level line now, I think called Mesa. Haven’t seen any real feedback yet but if you don’t want to drop the cash for the race line, might be a good option.

I've got the mesa 2.5s in the back and have zero complaints, will get some for the front eventually

Just custom order, or go in person since they're close to you

Should be running a rear shock relocation with custom shocks anyway

The stock mounting points leave a lot to be desired

It clearly says only 96-04, so I obviously can't use any of it on my 95

    Naw I understood

But you'll easily bottom out with longer shocks in the rear using the stock mounts

Ill have to 63 swap first anyway, I don't think I can even fully cycle a shock (without a lot of speed) with how stiff the OME 95 leafs are

This has got me thinking about front coilovers though, its past time to retire the 5100s up there

Yeah I'll want to do a 63 swap as well but I may want to invite a friend to help with that

Rear beds are pretty light, but they're awkward and it helps to have a second set of hands to move that shit when pulling it off

I have a feeling I could pretty easily physically do the relocation/hanger swap, but in reality I would sit there second guessing and overthinking the geometry for hours/days without being able to just lay a bead on the hangers. Thats pretty much what happened with my spindle gussets when they didn't mock up perfectly square

I know someone with a reference truck we could park next to yours to stare at! I’ve got some reference material saved from when I was researching it too.
