trim and plastic restorer

What trim and plastic restorer should I use on my black 2012 TACO.
I have recently started using Mothers Black on Black.
All other post are 2 -3 years old.

Also what can be done to restore clear coat on my hood?

I use Griots ceramic trim. It’s last about 6 months

Gtechnique C4 lasts a bit over a year on my outside in Florida vehicle. 2 + on my garaged vehicle

Nothing. You have refinishing options, but no restoration ones

 

For black trim I had good results with Cerakote. Walmart carries it.


For the hood I just wrapped it.

 

I use the maguires interior cleaner on my exterior plastic after every wash it soaks in and seems to keep the plastic looking nice. For the paint I use cerakoate paint sealant. SC1 silicone spray also is great for exterior plastic and wheels.

 

None of those actually do anything to black plastic that is already sun faded.

Either get new parts, or take off the parts and paint them with flat/satin spray paint. You can also rit dye small parts but it requires a boiling pot of it so you aren't going to put your bed rail caps in it.
