I remember few years back, there was this robin that was obsessed with himself’s reflection in the mirror on the driver’s side of my truck. He would flap his wings as he pecked at the mirror, leaving bird shit all down my door. He wouldn’t quit. I kept washing bird shit off the truck, he kept pecking, flapping and shitting. Two years in a row he kept coming back. I normally don’t mind birds, I find them quite calming. But this little bastard had a mental disorder. So mid way into his second year of reflection abuse, I borrowed a buddy’s air rifle and with one well aimed shot, sent the poor little demented tweeter to the promise land.

Your install looks more professional than a job a lot of pro's would do .

Have fun grocery shopping Greg. Being in that senior group, I try not to go to the grocery store on senior shopping days. They leave their carts blocking the aisle, run into shelving with the electric carts, giving you dirty looks when you say excuse me becuse their walker is blocking the aisle, and worst of all is forgetting where they forgot where they left their cart .

    Have fun Greg.

I'm thinking about getting an air horn for my cart, lol. I still have a devious sense of humor.

lmfao nice. it's like the squirrels who keep digging in my bonsai. i tried all non lethal approaches and now I have this:71hxL62bprL._UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg

And I gotta be honest, I can't watch them flop around in the trap, I'm still human, but if they're already dead it's not much of an issue. One night I was sitting in my living room and a copperhead was dragging the dead squirrel and trap across the driveway.....

I kinda like when animals do the clean up.

We have this issue occasionally on this or that window around the house. We hang something inside or outside to break the reflection. One year my wife put a bunch of stuffed animals in the window. That was for a Baltimore oriole. I still wonder what that poor critter thought when it came back to look for it's reflected nemesis and saw a stuffed moose instead!

Lol...They just advised brakes front at 3.5 rears at 5. 58500 miles on original brakes.

My Tundra is a heavy girl appx 7500lbs with all my skid plate armor, winch, steel F / R bumpers, Roof rack with 2 roam boxes and a 8gal waterport, bed rack with RTT.... shall I go on...

I think She did well on those factory original brakes. Next set will be Stillen drilled and slotted roters with R1 ceramic pads. Won in a raffle at T2S Parker edition last year.

Just got back off the water, beautiful day, a bit windy. Whitecaps were trying to form, just not enough wind for them to come out and play. I did have a number of playmates on the water today, many Brown and White Pelicans all around me. The White ones are the largest Pelicans, a wing span as big or bigger than a Condor at times.

Of course they were otters and seals. The rules are clear, stay far enough from all wildlife so you don't change their behavior, like make them leave. Reality is, the critters don't know the rules so they will at times surface near you and hang out. One guy today did that, surfaced in the shallows, rolled on to his back and just watched me paddle backwards away from him.

Good morning. Son took delivery of a new 2024 Tacoma SR5 in Ice White. The Tacoma has both the SR5 Upgrade and Cold Weather packages.

The local Toyota dealer sucked. Got there at 2:30 for a 3pm test drive of the Tacoma on the website. Could not find the salesperson but found out the Tacoma was sold. I sent a request on Saturday confirming they still had the Tacoma, no reply back. We walked out and I received a text around 3:30 asking if I was coming in for the test drive. Answered I had already been in and left. At 4 received another email asking if I wanted to reschedule the test drive, answered no and placed a stop to the messages. Hope i get an email asking me to rate them. LOL

Called another dealer I contacted earlier because one always needs a backup plan, I had two backup dealers i had sent inquires to about Tacomas on their lot. The dealer is located just north of Baltimore and could not have been treated better. My son now owns an Ice White 2024 Tacoma SR5. What a difference 16 years make in the Tacoma. I am quite :jellydance: of his Tacoma.

I "re-homed" a dozen squirrels over a two-week period about a month ago. They are suckers for peanuts in the shell. There is a small piece of state forest about 5 miles from me and that's where they went. No returns to date. I've also removed 6 raccoons in the last 15 months, and I live in a suburban area. As far as the three top birds that I hate: Sparrows, Starlings and Sparrows.

Bird feeders cause a lot of unwanted critters moving in. I call them” bird attackers “. I solved a lot of my unwanted critters problems by not feeding them. Switched to bird houses, now I hunt moles :spy:

I’m the same. No feeders just bird houses. They look cool around the yard, and I actually had one being used this year. As far as moles, I tried everything on the market, Dude, I mean everything. I was at a point where I was going to hire a guy to put an owl house in a tree in my yard in hopes of getting one to occupy it. Probably 3-4 years I went through the agony of watching my yard being destroyed by those little f#%ks. Then while we were gone to Japan for 3 months, my neighbor got a cat. We came home to maybe 2-3 mounds. And very soon, none. That’s been 2 years now. This cat is a warrior.
