I just bought a 2025 Tacoma Sport Hybrid and this is my first post in this section. Since I started shopping for a new truck 7 months ago I have already started to watch several threads in the 4th gen section. I have almost 10 mods planned but that is far less than the 33 mods I did on my 3rd gen truck. To be fair, I did have some duplicate mods such as 4 sets of wheels and 4 different y-pipes. I bought the new truck out of town and when I parked it at the hotel my daughter parked her car right next to my truck. When she opened her door it happened to hit my new truck leaving a small dent and scratch. When she realized what she did she came to me sobbing and apologizing over and over. I told her that she was more important and valuable to me than a million new trucks. I would never let my relationship with her suffer because of a minor accident. I did walk away with a silent sigh in my heart. I already put my old truck in the for sale thread. The following is a link.

You can pick up a set of alpharex usa nova series lights for much less than oem Toyota ones and they’re a simple plug n play plus you get either white or amber running lights and sequential turn signals. I love these lights. They have a great start up sequence and still retain the factory leveling adjustment.

What I did today was to take off the TRD billet aluminum oil cap from my old truck and put it on my new truck. My next mod will be adding a tonneau cover. The truck looks absolutely naked without one. I was going to get one at the dealer but they were out of stock. One of the managers told me that the weathertech tonneau covers were much better quality and the seams where the covers fold into thirds don't crack under the hot Florida sun. I can't seem to find any Tacoma reviews on them. If anyone has any information on them I would appreciate it.

Got the Carista in today and tweaked several things. Turn signal length and volume, universal window roll down with the key fob, active noise cancellation in the cab, and the fake engine noise.

Sounds soooooo much better in the cab now.

The Limited that I test drove before I bought mine either didn’t have the fake engine noise or it was very different from what’s in the TRDOR Hybrid. Thought something was wrong with my truck at first.

Question, can you roll the windows up with the key fob?

Indeed you can. Hit the unlock button twice: once to unlock the doors, hold down on the 2nd to roll down the windows. Tip: if you let up on the button after pushing and holding the 2nd time the windows will stop rolling down as soon as you let up on the button. Just push and hold again to roll down more.

Functions the same as my 2016 Mustang. I wonder why it is something that needs to be enabled on our tacoma's.

Added a full size spare (285/70/17) deflated it completely and added a ratchet strap to draw it as far away from the track bar as possible

trumgeta seat cover and bed stiffeners, Amazon front tow hooks. I gotta say, I am surprised at what a difference the bed-stiffeners make, bed doesn't feel wobbly when driving over train tracks/bridge crossings anymore... The install hardware with the allen bolts is trash though.

Can you try something for me?
While you are driving on what you might consider a noisier road (extra points for chip sealed interstate highway), toggle on and off the "noise cancellation".
I did not notice any difference in my own example of the TRD Off Road iForce Max with the Toyota version of Falken Wildpeaks and a standard (not JBL) soundsystem.
There is little information on noise reduction differences in any of the upper models, but for "insulated glass" and some additional door edge filler on the Limited.
That said, yeah the 2024 Tacoma is quieter than my 2021 example, but I purchased the Carista module and 30 days of app subscription to reduce cabin noise with little effect.

I'm excited to announce the new Banks Boost Tube Upgrade Kit for the 2024+ Tacoma. You're like, wait, Banks makes parts for gas trucks? Yes indeed! Gale Banks spent the first 30 years of his career setting records with gas engines. He makes his return to the scene with these boost tubes, intercooler, and Ram-Air (cold air) Intake. No one knows more about turbocharged engines than Gale Banks. A quick Google search will show you what I mean.

The smooth mandrel-bent tubes deliver high-density air to your 2.4L turbocharged engine while reducing boost pressure loss. The turbo’s compressor will make the same boost at a slower shaft speed. The result is quicker turbo response, greater efficiency, and longer turbo life. The billet aluminum couplers aren't just for looks and strength. They aid air flow as well! Upon close inspection of the couplers’ interior, you'll notice smooth curves that aid in transitioning air across joints. Outside, spring clips keep the couplers in place, regardless of our hard you off-road. Unlike the flimsily stock units, hefty stainless steel T-bolt clamps and 5-ply Nomex-infused silicone couplers will last the life of your truck.

If you're interested in a kit, I'd be happy to help.
