Crank position sensor failed this morning 3 minutes from home on his bike. Said it was the 2nd time that specific sensor failed since he owned it. He was pushing it home and some random dude stopped to help and they loaded it up in his delivery truck and took him home. Rode the old Versys in again for his second attempt to get to work. He said at this point, the riding versus downtime is approaching that of his old ural, lol.

I think he's set on getting rid of it after he fixes it this time.

Well the guy that offered 4K seems to really want the bike. I am not holding my breath but said he will have enough in a couple weeks. 6k cash no less. We will see.
Was offered a 2015 Hyundai for the Klx. Nope! No other real interest.

Too funny. You got more info than I did. He sent like four pics and zero info and I shut it down real quick.

just a couple of things tbh
I think it was @spencermarkd ? That was talking about the KTM 390smc. I called the dealer that has one in stock and otd looks to be 6800 for one of them or the r model. Asked if I can test ride one and they told me I can so might try that out one of these days and see if it's something I'd want.

That doesn't seem to bad. I know after the tariffs; there was a $575 fee added. So 6k msrp. Doesn't seem like they're adding a bunch of dealer bullshit charges :notsure:

I have been trying to sell the G310GS as well, for about 3 weeks. Had some trade offers, one for a 2001 Corolla, and lots of low balls, but that is about it. Marketplace makes me tired.

On price yup. My buddy actually rode the one I was talking about going to see. He said it was a nice bike but the tq was gutless sadly ... Said the new drz has way more bottom end grunt but is not worth that price at all! Said he would get well another street bike over the drz price.

So ya that's a bummer... He told me it's just like his wife's 390 Duke that I rode and it was a wet fart basically so that is a bummer...

I may keep my WR250R until next year at this rate.

It makes sense, who buys a bike in august? Especially in the cold regions. It's too late to get a full season out of it.

Just got an offer for an 08 Civic that was rear ended.

Down here we still have two or three months of good riding weather.

All y'all trying to sell a bike waaaay too late in the season. People will be looking for deals for the next 6 months, then in May everyone buys that didn't find a deal in the off season

We had this same conversation last year when I was selling my S1000XR haha still plenty of riding season left when you ride all year long

It was my turn today to offer someone a weird trade.. guy has a 1290 super adv listed for 10.5, I offered (in a not weird way..) my 701 + cash. I got left on read :anonymous:
