I know. It seems like there's 4 or 5 bikes out of like the 10 that frequent this thread, are for sale. That said, I'm keeping my out put for an older Ducati sbk, just in case

Well for what it's worth I'm not selling my bonneville or my tdub. Both bikes make me very happy, lol. And I'm retired now and they're paid for. I don't really want anything else or have room for another bike. So glad I don't have to play the games trying to sell or buy a bike.

I'd keep my WR if I could but I'm tired of loading it on a carrier just to get it anywhere reasonable to ride it. Plus I don't have enough space in my garage to park my truck and my bikes in the winter. So apparently I'll be a one bike guy again until my kid graduates highschool lol.

The 701 would be a fun bike but I feel you got a be younger or a child at heart to want a supermoto lol.

I've found a few of the KTM varieties for decent prices out here and a buddy I know is selling one but it's got like 20k on the motor haha.

I was watching a YT vid the other day and a guy got pulled over for doing a wheelie on a SM. When the cop got up to him and saw his face, he said "You're too old to be doing stuff like that"........guy was 60(if memory serves)

    haha sounds about right!

ive seen a few of the ktm flavor enduros that have been converted to a sm for around the 7k mark for low miles but i could have sworn someone on here stated the enduro version as a sm isnt as good as the true sm...

i did find two 2021 yamaha tenere 700s for 7k... one has a lot more mods at 7500 and one is bone stock minus crash guards for 7k.. both are tempting... but so is a super moto..

Are you referring to the 690? Technically the sm has different forks and brakes but converting my enduro was fine. I really wouldnt think twice about converting either one way or the other.

Buy a t7, bring to me to ride puhlease

Different gearing, SM has taller gears, different brakes and forks. SM's forks are thicker, set wider apart, and has less (more?) of a rake angle, so steering is quicker, but has less travel on them than the enduro. Different brakes, 4 pot radially mounted fronts with a bigger caliper. You can put 17" wheels and tires on an enduro easier than you can put 21/18's on a SM. Aftermarket rims are easier to manage than stock because of the brakes and width differences.

Also, watched this video last night from rocky mountain atv comparing the 390 adventure r, drz4s, himalayan 400, and the ibex 450. Nothing ground breaking but still interesting to see. They all agreed the 390 was gutless, but if you were doing more road than dirt was still the better bike over the drz4s. If you were doing more dirt and just trying to get to the trails, drz was the better setup. Biggest surprise was how much they all liked the royal enfield.

ya the 690. ahhh i gotcha i found one that is converted and comes with all the dirtbike stuff for 7k with i think 5k miles?? it looks like a nice bike

maan im trying to tell my self no on the t7 you aint helping! its a really nice bike...
    upload_2025-8-6_9-26-45.png
it looks like this just aftermarket exhaust and a few other odds and ends.

there is another one for 7k thats bone stock with 3k miles... and one for 7500 that has 7800 miles with more mods...
ahhh i gotcha interesting it has that many changes and that its easier to modify the enduro. i like the idea of it since it would be a ton of fun around town and around downtown area but so would a t7...

interesting that does sound about right from everything ive heard as well. those royal enfields are starting to get pretty dang nice tbh! idk if id buy one but they are nice!

T7 is a cool bike, but I think if you are looking for a more street than dirt kinda bike, you'd be better off with something else. Also, aren't you short like me? T7 is kinda tall. You're current bike is great for offroad stuff.

Man a T7 would be so nice. Was thinking the other day how nice it would be to strap a tent on the back and just go exploring. Harder to do that with my current SV650s and Grom.

im 50/50 tbh street bikes are nice and i liked the tracer but ive always wanted an at or t7.

i am shorter yes but ive ridden my buddys t7 and was able to move it around fine. just feels like well a dirtbike. that is correct the klx is way better for offroad which is what it is for this bike would be more ridding around town and some longer trips that can still go offroad ish.

My buddy checked out a tracer, and multiple BMWs last night (at a dealer). I'm waiting for him to check out an AT. I think they're such a good package for the price. I was really interested in getting the Adventure Sports version (for the lower seat) before the NT1100 came out. No need for offroad for me, so it's even lower. Otherwise, AT ALL THE WAY.

I'm cheap, so can't see buying a big BMW for 2x as much lol.

You should come buy this one. 2022, $11,000, 2385 miles

not a bad price for the miles tbh! looks clean af as well!

as much as i loved the tracer if the gf isnt wanting to ride two up as much anymore and wants to ride her self, then i dont really need a two up bike? i was told if i want something more of what i want just go get it.
