That's correct, these are the same as the 4WP sliders. I believe 4WP sold all the IP to Smittybilt for these, the front & rear bumpers, and a bunch of other parts. Similarly to what redneck said, these were a no brainer bargain for $300 bucks. With that said, I wouldn't pay $1400 for these, ever. IMO these wouldn't be worth anything over $600 new. The quality is decent but the hardware it came with could have been a lot better. They welded nuts to plates that you insert into the frames and those welds were shit. Had to reweld them after a few broke after tightening. My biggest gripe was the 4WP logo cutout (that's now a Smittybilt logo) has a small gusset underneath it that's only tack welded inside the slider. That weld broke pretty quickly leaving that gusset to rattle around inside. By far one of the most annoying noises. I cut the logo out and cut off as much of the gusset as possible and just rivnutted a plate overtop of it to keep it looking clean. If I ever need to replace these sliders, I'm going with a real US based vendor that makes quality stuff.

If you like the looks of these sliders, Saints Offroad has a similar looking slider that's built much better and those guys are super friendly and helpful.

    Pretty much stock right now
One side lower was slightly sloppy, all the others felt tight.

frame plate was prebent and fit the frame flush so not sure if thats something thats been changed. as of now the bottom washer rubbing is not an issue. its centered and has clearance. i will take note if it rubs though. as far as i see its still an excellent product. i purchased because it includes frame plates and was much cheaper (krave had c4 sale at the time) to get than your product shipped to me in rural canada. believe i mentioned this before on your crossmember delete bumper but you need some canadian dealers like krave onboard.

Because HI. No. I kid. This is really an incredible looking kit. Cannot wait to see updates. Congrats! So this kit looks to mimic the BDS or Fabtech 6". What are doing for the rears?

Finally added $15,000 for custom equipment to Auto Insurance renew. Not sure what took me so long but sometimes getting old is rough.

Im sure they made changes as the complaints rolled in haha. I don’t think they’ve fixed the washer issue unless they changed the tube size when they removed the logo cut out in the tube. It’s a possibility but I’d be guessing. And it’s pre bent- but they have less bends on the frame plate. This just makes install easier/better fit up. They just cut some corners in my opinion is all. But making the product is just part of it. The easy part actually even with all the refinements. It’s selling it and marketing these differences that is something I’m working on improving so I actually appreciate these conversations :D

Hmm guess i havent seen em all! Ha. Yeah, think I'll pass then.. Thanks for the heads up!! Probly go with Westcott. Had my eye on them for a while now. They're local too. He usually offers up sets on marketplace for local pickup with a good discount.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family. That is a neat time in life. Off the CMC subject and on to In House Fab snorkels. What are the chances of reestablishing your partnership with the lads down under?
