    Regular season Marty, we had him as well. In both ‘95 and ‘97 with him we were 13-3 and the #1 seed, and lost first round both times The second time was to Elway on their first of back-to-back titles. I was at both games. Part of the pre-Mahomes futility years.

    I don't have any data but it seems to me, the lighter these NFL teams go with their preseason reps and training camps, it seems like there's more catastrophic injuries in the modern NFL than there were in the 80s and 90s when guys seemed to go more all out and play more of the preseason time.
