    I put a Dorman unit in at least 5 years ago and still works like a champ.

    Recently replaced both my regulators with Aisin and they work great. I’m sure the Dorman ones will too.

    Lubricate the window channels while you do it, makes a huge difference.

    I didn’t know Aisin made them when I searched I didn’t see them. I installed a Dorman this morning it’s working fine but I would rather have had a Aisin. What did you use to lubricate the channels?

    3rz to 2Rz bebuilt block and new heads
    Scotty uses the spray silicone.......he also says it makes a big difference


    dumb ass me should do same thing....been meaning to do that last 2yrs

    with all the rain we've had.....should be a big plus

    I bought a generic regulator off ebay 7 years ago.....$28......still working fine

    I thought about lubricating the channels this morning but wasn’t sure what to use. I think I can get to them so I will give it a try. Thanks
