About to dive into Heater Core replacement...Any guides on dash removal?

    Looks like you need to use the OE pipes to get the desired fit to me, but that's aluminum core that you bought, right? I've done a lot of soldering in my day but never brass to al. I'd think they have that process down now,,,, back in the day, nope, nothing would go to al. but al.

    2000 Tacoma 4WD Base - no low gas warning light but it has AC!
    I did this job in the last couple years, my replacement core had the pipes attached, it fit well. I can probably track down the unit I bought if needed.

    Throwing in my 2 cents worth return that core and get you the one with metal pipes already attached. JMHO
