Greetings, I have a 2023 SR Double Cab and I noticed the default DRL is the amber/turning light.

Are we able to upgrade the harness to change the DRL to White LED?

When I was searching online, all the harnesses that have DRL are not for the SR/SR5 models. I keep seeing a lot of upgradeable headlights that I can't use because the SR doesn't have that DRL cable

I just installed fog lights (thank you Toyota for making it difficult lol)

    Thank you!

VLED makes a switchback kit for the SRs. It will give you white DRL, and they will switch to amber for the turns

Yeah, I agree. They used to make a version for around $140ish. I probably have a set of the controllers lying around still. Not sure if they still make the old LEDs though? Let me look…

Looks like the non-extreme version is $150 now for just bulbs. I guess you don’t get that 2019 pricing back
There are cheaper options for switchbacks, the issue is more about the controller for the SR. Unlike regular switchbacks, the SR needs some added logic since the turn and DRL are on the same wire. That isn’t as easy as you might think unfortunately. I replicate that with the SR to LED conversion harnesses, and I sale those for $200, so it isn’t easy or cheap for sure. I used to use the older version of the controllers from VLED to do that (that’s why I have them lying around), so that can be adapted to drive other lights. But the issue I had, and why I went away from them, is that sometimes they just didn’t work with what I was doing. It wasn’t that there was anything wrong with them, I was using them in a way that they weren’t designed for. So I’m not sure if you adapted them to drive another bulb if you’d have the same issues is why I mention all that. I will say that VLED makes good stuff though.
