The Leer 100XL and the A.R.E. MX look like almost exactly alike. Anyone else see that, or is it just me?

Romafern...I have a Leer 100XR. The front part of the shell like the corners area of the beds usually have a black rubber/tar material that is sorta built up to prevent leaking. I haven't put anythere and get a small bit of water in rain. Doesn't event puddle just damp. My back windows leak under direct water pressure (have to try) I'm mindful of it when I wash the truck. That probably varies with your seals and the life of em.

My 100XQ no leaks at all on side windows, but it wasn't used long term. A buddy has a ARE CX and no leaks either. If you end up with one use that warranty! Hope this helps.

Recently picked up a used snugtop (rebel i think) for a great price. It was white however I had it painted for a killer price.

edit: and man my hood looks so dull... :(

I will have to check my seals at the front of my SnugTop XTR. I think the vatos at the shop did not spread those seals you speak of. Unfortunately for me, I bought the shell when I was TDY in San Antonio and I am now in the worst place in earth known as Disgusta, GA. My closest dealer from me is like in Florida. I did adjust the seals on the side windows and it looks like that took care of issue #1. I will have to get a friend to help me take the shell off to inspect the bottom where it touches the bed. Overall, I am happy with my SnugTop.

Ordering a Leer XR tomorrow w/ headliner, everything else stock. Looking forward to not having to worry about camping stuff flying out of my truck and not having to carry my tools in my back seat. I will have to get a hitch carrier for my Mountain Bike. I was looking at the Thule racks but with the lift on the truck it's waaay to high to lift a heavy Kona up there.

X2, I find the DCLB out of proportion in it's natural state, but the shell corrects them.
