Our old street was lined with palm trees and once a year for about 6 weeks straight they would drop their seeds from way high up, if you were parked under them you'd get little dents all over your car.

Tropical Palms are pretty neat, love the look of a royal palm. But yeah the tall scrub palms in CA are sorta scrandy, not worth having around.

That's how I was starting to feel about pine trees. I hate cleaning up pine needles.

We have a lot of ponderosa pines around the new neighborhood, I don't know if pine needles are a big issue but the pinecones can be. Someone somewhere has probably been injured or killed by a falling pinecone I'm sure

We had a lot of Magnolia trees around there too, very pretty especially in spring when blooming. But their seed pods look like some kind of alien life form pretending to be a pinecone

After seeing the footage of that hot air ballon disaster in Brazil a few months ago, I'm gonna pass on that

every bubble machine we get ends up destroyed in a matter of days. River goes crazy with them and they just don't last. I found the most recent one submerged in the bottom of Dex's water bowl outside and ruined

we even got one that was housed inside of a metal casing and he managed to break that one by sticking his fingers in the spinning part and stripping all the gears

actually I take that back, the one that has lasted is a cheap plastic gun looking one that you just dip into bubble solution and pull the trigger. Somehow that $3 thing has taken all the abuse and still works

    Dang

This one's only lasted cause he likes to park it somewhere and run it non-stop

Forgets about it to go play, and when I shut it off he comes over to turn it on again :bananadead:

yeah I tried hanging them up high out of his reach, but then the bubbles just go straight up into the sky and that's no fun lol. Just gonna stick with the cheap ones that are less painful to replace when they break.

Yeah I've seen him go through car windows easily. This dent is from one at the old house.

Finally turned this thing in to a useful tool! I think I mentioned in here how disappointed I was in the “appetite” of the stones that came on it… Belt/disc on one side and a wire wheel on the other, both did great on a quick little test run.

If you get the cheap attachment on Amazon plan on finding and pressing in a bushing, the fit was terrible and the options in the kit were no help…
