Snapped some pics on a dirt road that I frequently run on. Also installed a Larsen 2/70B NMO that will be used with a Yaesu 8800R.

Looking good Dean. You run the wires thru the roof or magnetic? Did the tabs you get for the LF 170s have 1 hole or 3 holes? I see a couple different style tabs offered.

Yea we decided to keep it.

It's a roof mount so I drilled a 3/4 " hole about 26" forward of where I have the CB antenna. I had a third light tab welded onto the bar for the third 170. I gotta remove the bumper one of these and respray it. The ride over from Hawaii puts a nice coat of rust on it. Sliders and rear bumper need some work too.

Ah, mine has no tabs, I'll just run by ORW and pick 'em up instead of ordering them so I can get the right ones.

Stuff looks so clean and new looking with no scratches on it. But anyways, yea I think 3 fills out the area very well. Plus you can run two spot covers and one flood or vice versa. I have 3 combo filters on there now.

These lights can take a beating too. I accidentally ran over a cover after it rubbed up against a thick limb on the trail. Found it on my way back and it was a little bent. I just bent the tabs back into place and it has been on my truck for a couple months now with no problems. I wouldnt hesitate to buy LF lights again.

Thanks! I need to finish them off with some line-x though and then I will consider them complete.

I installed the hood struts that I bought off a member today. Those are a life saver cause it is difficult to put the prop rod up with the bumper and height of the vehicle.

Also changed the oil and noticed a leak at the front differential. Took it into the dealer and the front diff is leaking (obviously) and they also found a leak at the timing chain cover. Still covered under warranty.

I am definitely avoiding mud as I know this is the likely cause of the leaks.

Sweet truck. Definately have you in my bookmarks as a reference for my truck. Sad to see you eventually want to put an LT on it...As much as LT kits are awesome, they're expensive and I didn't want to do it because of that. But now that you plan on it, I can't stand to be one upped so I guess I'll have to in the coming years. When my wife bitches I'm pointing my finger at you.

Speaking of which...where is your exhaust? I want to put my 285 under the bed where the stock is currently at now but afraid the exhaust will either hinder it's placement or create too much heat near the tire.
