Progress. Here's what has been found.

All color coded wires shown in the diagram have been found in the wiring bundle coming from the relay stack. I see the wires from from the relays heading to AJ1. I think they terminate there. If I could run my own, connecting to the relays, I think I am in business. (Same for connections from J92).

Honestly, why not use this factory wiring? Makes perfect sense to do so.

seems like theres 2 connectors in place behind the switch covers where the aux1-3 buttons would be.

would it be as simple as adding the relays in the fusebox from this point on?

OP, you found AJ1. Posi-tap the wires to the switches. Same for the switch illumination. Keep it out of the "environment" and running extra wires from engine bay to cab.

Those aren't the connectors to the Aux switches.

Precisely my plan. Although, I have not found J92, yet.

Is that up near the top of the dash, behind the instrument display or just over the structural tube?

look for the connector that is bolted to the tube, it's next to it.

This is awesome! Thank you! This a completely updated diagram that includes deviations for gasoline & hybrid models from production Dec 2024 on. Outstanding.

May I ask how you got the wiring diagram from TIS to look like that? Where the actual connectors are in place of the “blue squares” that’s there normally for J22 J23 etc..

    Thanks!

Sorry friend. Most of these diagrams are from images I have found online. I did not make these. Only connecting the dots.

All gravy. I found a way to mass download everything I need off TIS, convert it to PDF, and then print it all out/save to a USB drive etc.. was gonna be real fuckered off if I missed a setting to input the actual connectors into the diagrams, haha! My budget TRD Sport has no dash switches, no relays, no relay terminals, but I can see the wiring in the fuse box. However; the dash switches for 120VAC and the Auto Fuel Door are present. It’s just bizarre.

This is mind boggling to try and follow… but I too have TRD OR Hybrid… no aux switches. I’d like to add Heritage grill with light bar, and I’m struggling how to make it all happen.

Well..if you want OEM switches and OEM switch functionality, then yes it’s mind numbingly difficult at best. In some cases impossible if you don’t have the relays/fuses/relay terminal block/wiring like me, haha. Basically have to get lucky like OP did and have just enough of the infrastructure to make it happen, and even then it’s a wild goose chase, as exemplified by the existence of this thread.

But! If OEM functionality is not a hard requirement, Wiring up your own DIY kit is usually pretty straightforward. Hardest part about DIY is just figuring out how you’re gonna mount the switch to the dash. I ended up buying a couple of ditch lights and the bracket to mount them. Setting it all up wasn’t too bad at all, Hardest part was getting through the firewall and, as mentioned above, Deciding how I wanted to switch to be on the dash. :)

Adding a new switch would be the easiest part , it’s just trying to make it happen like as if it was done as a factory option is the million dollar question.

like the OP, I have the groundwork there, just need to figure out that missing link that connects the wiring from the main harness to the switch itself

DIY is indeed straight forward. I just like the idea of utilizing the wiring that is already in place.
Learning pretty quickly this may end up being more effort than simply just installing a custom fuse/relay controller and wiring in some CR OE style switches.
Seems like such a waste to have 3 Aux circuits with harness locations in there already and not use them.

In your case it is an easy thing. Just some posi-taps to wire coming from the relays at AJ1 and an ignition source for juice.
