Morning all you stockers :hattip:dry as a popcorn fart around here. The heat is moving back in, hopefully with some rain, no monsoon. Lawn is mostly brown or weeds, so I got that going for me. Idiot across the the street had a huge fire going yesterday, I asked him if he had a burning permit, got the deer in the headlights look. Dude, you know there’s a burning ban in place right, he went and got his hose and put it out. Burning embers blowing up into his pine trees o_O

Good morning, Mike, Mark, Bill, Dennis, and more...
Yesterday, I called The Boat Center in Wisconsin after their lunch hour, spoke with Kyle in Parts and he apologized that it's taken so long to round up all the paperwork. He has the box and would be packing up a new Yamaha F2.5SMHB outboard, 4-stroke 2.5 hp shipping UPS today! The Spokane Valley (WA) dealer thought they had one that came in on the March 30 invoice they'd paid, but it hadn't shipped with the large batch of (larger) engines they'd received when I stopped to check April 23. Eventually it was reported having been "released" by their rep, but we all wonder what "released" means. We'll celebrate its arrival at First Pres (August 17?), likely with coffee and two doughnuts, not just one. This will be a worthy replacement for Dad's original 3hp Johnson on the Grumman Sport Boat he ordered in 1962 (picked up with his red '59 GMC pickup, taking apart the crate at home in Rapid City, SD). Those boats and canoes have been built to order continuously since 1944. The Sport Boat is Grumman's version of the Maine Guide Boat. www.marathonboat.com

Rough in inspection tomorrow morning at 9am. Was supposed to button up the panel and make boxes up today and spent two and a half god damned hours trapped in the Home Depot parking lot with a siezed week-old $3900 ladder rack (bought a 12’ step ladder and was loading it). Called the installers and they said they couldnt get someone out and I went nuclear. My boss called them and they called back that they’d send a tech out so idk what he said but it worked. Two hours later, they didnt tighten the rail one of the pistons is on and it shot out and locked it up. So thats how my morning has gone. Behind now on my project.

Zactly! There's a lengthy list of annual "Who's Who in (fill in the blank)" books. The kicker is (as I found out at the end of the application for one of my high school student children) the price of a copy of the book.
(My brother is a legend in his own mind, so he doesn't need a book to remind him.)

Did some more maintenance on the lanes.
Clean chain and flights (sp). Found two pins broken so that will be on the repair docket.
