IMG_4781.jpg IMG_4782.jpgInstalled mud guards today. Now I need to wash all the mud off the side of the truck that was on there before the install.

Installed a hood insulator. I do not notice any noise reduction, but it does make the engine compartment look more finished.

Did you do your own PPF or is there a good installer in Santa Fe? I need to have mine done soon.

It was pricey. The REDARC was $220.00, and they charged $400.00 to install. Like I said mine was a Base Line OFF ROAD. I was told it would be plug and play like my 2016 Off Road. well, it was not. If I had known at the time I might have paid for the upgrade model.
Bottom line it all boils down to how much you need the option. Also, the Dealer assured me that it would not affect the warranty,

Put on the black exhaust tip but my initial impression is mixed given how low it sits.20250809_064124.jpg

Honestly, that seems like a good price! I feel like that labor charge is super fair for the dealer as well. The Sr5 I looked at with the tow controller and upgraded stereo was 3k more. Getting a tow controller installed for $620 doesn't seem too bad.

Unpopular mod, but getting tired of the bare metal stock exhaust tip, and to get the TRD PRO tip requires buying the whole, tww-parts, TRD cat back anyway, so I invested in the AWE 0FG. It is said to be the one and only best sounding cat back for 4 cylidner. I liked their youtube videos, so, let's hope for the best. Note: more of "about to do to my 4th gen...", will intall it next week along with Nomad wheels

I have no idea how any of these are better…same freaking thing. lol. They do the same thing, serve the same purpose. But, whatever you desire…I like the ATH version, no complaints. And one thing I do not like on the other is the welds, I know you can’t see it, but seems bulkier. To each their own.

Genuinely curious. What are the benefits of the sixth element version vs ath fab?

The others are just using factory construction style piping "aluminized-steel" doesnt look very appealing visually in comparison....
The 6E is also larger over-all diameter & stainless construction...
May not matter any, those 2 reasons also ide spend the extra few dollars & go that route...

I had a muffler shop make me something similar to the cheaper one, for just $40...
I got rid of it when I saw the 6th element, no reason not to...

Majority of us got the 6E while it was on sale...
But even now, well worth the extra $20 in comparison, even if end of the day its all cosmetic....
