Cheers to all. It’s Riesling O Clock on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Prepping for another cold plunge in Skinny Dip Falls.

The reason the concrete is much warmer than air temp is mainly due to the Urban Heat Island Affect

New name for your town - "Surface of the SUN CITY"
Another hot day here, also - and I'm a 100 miles south of you guys.

This group wound not believe the temp at 3:20 PM on 8/7/2025 that I recorded.

Had a double rainbow this AM, though ....

New Cumberland Borough Park Classic Car and Motorcycle show today from 10:00-1:00. I'd never been there but figured it might be a good reason to clean up the Honda CB400F and take it for a ride. Here's a few highlights from the show which had more than 250 vehicles on display in the park. My little Honda cleans up nicely.

Original owner, he used to ride it to high school!

This guy won the restored class I was in. He deserved it, this bike is a full frame up resto with a lot of NOS Indian parts.

He also did the green Indian behind it.

This BMW has been in their family for 3 generations now. Purchased by the current owner's grandfather and passed down now twice.

This guy has more money in his paint job than I have in al 4 bikes I currently own have cost me. I'm not even counting the built turbo charged motor or insane sound system with 12 speakers.

Having owned 3 E-body Dodge Challengers in my past this was my favorite car at the show.

There were several close runners up if I hit the lottery.

I only took pictures of about a quarter of what was there. It's likely I'll go back next year. There were food tucks, a few vendors, and a DJ playing music the entire time. Nice way to spend my Saturday.

    Evening all:

Some gorgeous bikes and cars at that show Chuck :thumbsup:, thanks for sharing!

Nice looking garden tractor Ken, I have a green one that's around 35 years old but it's a Deutz Allis. :)

Just thinking about the food pantries, heck in our area all they need is a .22 and a fishing pole and they will go out and poach all the food that they need!

I see you have a tow hitch on the Z turn Paul, I don't have one on mine, but if the garden tractor died I would probably put one on it.

Fabricated and replaced the fiberglass rods for the roof on a pop-up deer blind, in the process of replacing the cables with chains on 2 hang on tree stands, need to build a replacement ladder stand that I just took down or just buy another one, I actually like the wooden ones I build better, hopefully this hunting season will be better than last year! :fingerscrossed:

    I love your 400F!

I owned a number of bikes of different brands in my 50 yrs of riding. Never a Honda 400f. My buddy had one and I spent time on it, sweet bike.

    As for Honda, I had the following, S90, CB450, 500, CB550, 750F, 750VFR, VFR V-Tec, all great bikes.

My only F was a 750F, sister bike pic.
