1991 fj1200 what you know about them? I found a pretty decently clean one that has a fuel issue for dirt cheap that I kinda wanna pick up and restore and enjoy.

 

Whenever you say thou instead of though..you’re the only person i interact with that shortens it thou instead of just tho haha

Kick stand up, headed out to some hoodoos today. Solo ride because organizing rides is a pain. I've given up after numerous bails.

 

Totally understand. You're just the only person I've seen do it. Perhaps it's because I'm older. Text shorthand wasn't a thing when I was forming language habits, and everyone knew that thou was an old word because everyone was at least casually familiar with the Bible.

I don't mind the shortening to tho because I understand it and because tho isn't a word. It makes sense. Using an existing word as shorthand for a completely different one just breaks my brain.

 

haha fair i never cared about ye ole bible so i only know the word from old movies and games and such. idk how it became a short word for though.

 

I've never been good at writing in general. Wasn't that great in school either. I've always been more hands on type. But after reading messages from my nieces and nephews I have to scratch my head sometimes. Just when I thought I was bad it gets confusing fast.

 

Standard height of humans. Might be different from the standard height of people riding a motorcycle most often tho

 

Right, but how many of those people not riding are not riding because a bike doesn't fit?

Solo is the way to go. I have no friends that ride.

 

People are unreliable.

 

Made it out, I hate straight highway for hours on end but it’s nice out here and lots of twists in the bad lands.

 

Drumheller area? Been nearly a decade since I've been out there. Wonder if that Motorsports park ever got built, be the only reason I'd go there now.

 

Lots of stuff died out here during Covid.

the main bridge is under construction so it’s all jammed up right now.

I’m probably not coming back on a bike again.

My kid still enjoys it so we come once a year.

 

Great bike, I had a 1985 FJ1100 which is the bike that started the FJ and FJR lineage. I had 60k on mine when I sold it and kick myself for having done that. Post the ad, I'd like to see it.
