    They're fucking nightmare creatures.
    I'll take ants over any of the aforementioned. I hate 'em but respect their discipline and organization.
    I don't mind spiders as long as they aren't anything that's gonna hurt.
    Also nope to rats and mice.

    Rats and mice are even worse

    Never had them but the many threads I've seen of them causing damage would have me owning cats (even with my bad allergies)

    Being out in the sticks where I'm at, I'm surrounded by fields. Sure as shit, every once in a while one of my cats will have nabbed one. I've sealed everything imaginable and they still get in!

    We fostered a cat in our garage for a bit once, that’s how I learned we had mice! Free pest control was pretty cool until one morning I went out and found a headless snake… That was unsettling :rofl:

    @TACOTU3

    So it definitely won't work as a leg rest, with the angle being so far back (was never the intention) but it was never intended to act in such a way.

    20250810_113954.jpg

    But they should work now that it's cool and assembled.

    @time623

    Gonna check out a Monolith M10

    While I'm normally a huge fan of SVS subs and had multiple, the Monolith reaches deeper for HT at the same price point

    You gotta spend $1k+ to hit those 16hz notes from SVS.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    Now that would be a hoot to drive around without the white and lettering. Marine blue or Maroon would be fine. @01x4

    Dang, almost had a free footrest! Just remembered I’ve got this stupid pirate ship wheel from the roller that I’m not going to be using, but it’s a couple inches too big.

    Oh well, I want some experience with the roller anyways. That’s worth more than cutting this down just to get it done. It will be fun!

    I've got a stool I don't use at all (the Harbor Freight one).

    I'm sure my MIL won't notice it gone as she bought it for me buuuuut...I feel bad taking the footrest and leaving that stool in an unstable setup.

    Hmmmm

    LOL, the guilt will get ya!

    Before the roller fell in to my lap I was looking at $5-10 stools on marketplace to harvest one from…

    I’m hoping I can at least manage to get the old trams off myself. I’d think getting the new one on would be really tricky lining up all the bolt holes though so I’ll definitely need help with that. Regardless, it should be ready to go by October, which is supposed to be a really beautiful month around here.

    Start by separating the transfer case. It will make removing the trans a lot lighter. Take out the top 2 bolts on the transmission 1st after taking off the t-case.

    I'm back after a week of driving over rocks and mountain passes. Did I miss anything good?
