    Let's see

There was a vibe check, we all passed

Nick's getting his truck transported to him so we'll see that back up and running

And a few of us are playing a new video game

Then there's the discussion of rats, mice, scorpions, spiders, and rattle snakes and that sort of thing

The weather was great, we only saw a few drops of rain the entire week. The first few nights were a little chilly but that's my bad for not packing the right sleep setup.

Went a bit heavier with he trinity of nuts this time and added a healthy amount of cinnamon whole folding dough then left a layer nut mixture in the bottom of the proofing basket to stick to the top crust. I skipped the smiley face this time and went with a football grip/lace pattern since it had all the nuts on there. I mixed up some honey butter to go on it later and I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Oh I also added about 10g if coconut flour for a little flavor and texture since I know i love that stuff in banana bread. But only wanted to use a small amount while I'm testing it at first

It’s really hot and dry out here. I’m surprised we haven’t gad more fires around here tbh.

I enjoyed this show even though i found some of there fire fighting techniques questionable and their rigging in one episode pretty dump

Welp, I snagged the miller. Dude reached back out to me with a cash price I couldn’t turn down. He seemed pretty stoked to pass it along to another visually impaired welder. Came with a full bottle of argon, regulator, torch, foot pedal and little box of filler and consumables, all at a cost a decent chunk less than I have in to the stool :D

Ought to be a great set up to learn and play on! A while ago I promised Amber a table and loungers for the patio and I was dreading how heavy they were going to be, so learning aluminum will be a priority.

If anyone has any tips or recommended resources, I’m all ears!

Steal some spaghetti strand, and practice feeding

    Over and over and over

The same way you would practice dry firing for trigger control at home, you should practice feeding filler

While you're on the couch watching a movie or show, or just chilling at your desk watching a YouTube video

Feeding properly and consistently is just as important as learning movement speed and heat control

Ha, love it! I use a couple little fidget toys at my desk to keep focused while sitting in meetings, guess I’ve got a new plan!!

It came with one of those little thumb roller feeders, is that a BS gimmick or worth trying?

I've never tried one, but some swear by it

I learned TIG in school by traditional means, so I did that at school and at work

No one I worked with used them either, they just used thin goat skin gloves or no glove on the feeding hand at all
