    Yeah one of them chewed through and was dangling, and another was just gone. I guess I just assumed they both were chewed through, but it is possible I just didnt cinch one enough and it came loose from installation error. For all I know that one had been gone for a few weeks. I think I will get some new straps and keep some heavier zip ties with me in case I chew through them again. Realistically, I was basically at the truck's limits on a couple of those trails since I has no wheels on the ground. It is a lightweight option and I dont fault the skid design... I was probably using it past the intended limit.

    I messaged him on FB a couple months ago. Apparently his area got hit hard by the Texas flooding and things arent great there. I’ve been hoping to get replacement hardware for my skid for months now :(

    but thats far less of an issue than people losing their homes and livelihood

    Those straps tighten without you having to attach a winch. Pull them snug with normal strength and then pivot the buckle to lock in very tight!
    Mine have been in place for many years without any problems or worries at all. I highly recommend.

    I ordered one back in June. After order it said backordered. Now the website is no longer up. Calls to Nathan were unanswered/not returned. Emails not returned. I guess they are gone..
