    Thank for the suggestion brother!

Thats what I was actually thinking as I was looking into the options available. The more expensive and fancy options seems to be too advanced for my little truck.

I was looking at this one as a pretty good option. What are you guys thinking of this one?

Says it works with ISO J9141 so you should be good, there isn't much to see on these ECUs.

Yeah it should be as simple as removing the bulb socket and putting a size 74 bulb in.

Sweet ride! I love the 1st gens. A few years ago a volunteer at work was helping with an event. They brought their 2004 RC 4x4 manual to haul some pop up tents. I rode in that and it only had 25k or so miles. Damn near mint! That's my dream rig!.

Thank man, I have ordered some stuff. So far all kinda basic stuff to make it work better and feel better to me. when I say little stuff, it's like the knobs for the climate control that were missing. Ordered a new grill and side lights that are in bad shape and held on by zip ties. Ordering the fluids to change it all out this coming weekend work. Will not get to the fun stuff for a good bit of time haha. After fluids changed out I need to get the parking break working asap.

Oh yeah all the little things first add up fast and make big changes out of the gate! I’ve found buying the Amazon assorted clip package has helped tons when working on these old trucks with 30 year old plastic. One like this https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Retai...daa34b9be9d2c5bb9a3f028&qid=1754874751&sr=8-3

Never heard of this product. What makes it better than the others in your opinion?

You can read the details, see the pics and read the testimonials on their site.

But, not having rubber chips makes it much smoother. I personally dislike the texture of the rubber chips.

Once you have the bed prepped and coated, you can make your own bedmat using something like a horse stall mat. Nice heavy rubber that will reduce sliding of things in the bed. And of course make it harder to load things you want slide, LOL.

Nice, the reason I asked is that I was considering using something like this to paint the whole truck with hahaha

You'll find examples of that on their site, and you'll find examples of that on this site, using that same product.
